Do the mirrors on an 06 still fold forward when you fit the hand guards to the mirror stalks?

????? I have not seen the guards on the mirror stalks.
Mine are mounted on the lever holders. V Strom style.

Where can I get these guards, I was unaware of another grip guard option other than the V-Strom guards?

Ian, do you have a link to these guards, and, are they mounted on the mirror points or are they higher up, can not quite tell from the photo. Also, does anyone else have photos of these guards installed?

How hard are they to remove/reinstall, like if you wanted to take them off in summer, then replace them in winter?

I have a set of these - great to stop the wind chill on hands

Easy to get on/off - 5 torx screws - and yes - the mirrors still fold as they "mount" around the existing mirror stems - hinge not affected - just be careful - I have a larger Givi screen - very close fit between screen and guards at certain screen positions

very easy to get on and off, clamp fit over oem mirrors and yes they do get very close to some screens or as in my case hit the screen when it is in the lower position.

As for purchase, you can order them from your Yamaha dealer, i did and they were with me 2 days later along with the foot guards, very happy with both Very Happy
