I purchased a nice throttle lock for 07 FJR a few years ago and can't remember where I got it. It's not one you can find just anywhere. It works like the Vista cruise, but there's no plastic. It's all aluminum, about 3/8" wide and looks like an OEM part but it's not. It is model specific and only fits the bike it's made for. It's not a bar end type like the Throttlemeister. Any one know where it came from?

Probably a Throttlemeister or a Kaoko? I prefer the Kaoko personally. Both replace the bar end weight and a have a screw to lock mechanism.

No, it wasn't a Throttlemeister or similar. It was made by M.A.D. at madcoriders.com. It's the Cam-Lok "sport" model and is a great design, looks OEM, works better than any other type used by me (including Throttlemeister, Vista and more). I was asked by my local dealer where to get them and I couldn't remember. If you haven't seen or used one, you should.

I like my Throttlemeisters.
That looks like a clean installation, on a cruiser bike, but I can't see how it fits an FJR.

The Vista may be a cheap ($25) piece of plastic junk, but ya know what? After 4 years it still works great. If it ever breaks, I'll just install another one.

I have a throttlemaster and have used them since 98. You can't even tell it's there. It just looks like a quality pair of bar ends.
